WOMEN’S RETREAT DAY

This preplanned retreat day is a thoughtfully guided experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself. Rooted in the rhythm of rest, reflection, and renewal, the day weaves together gentle yoga, grounding meditation, breathwork, journaling, creative expression, and time in nature. Each element is intentionally chosen to support both relaxation and inner exploration—creating space to release what feels heavy, gain clarity, and truly fill your cup so you leave feeling more balanced, present, and restored.

KEEPERS OF THE RETREAT

  • Katie Mellenthin

    HOST & RETREAT ORGANIZER

I’m a small-town Wisconsin girl at heart, raised with a deep appreciation for nature and the peace it brings to life. Growing up surrounded by the beauty of the countryside taught me that no matter how stressful life becomes, nature has a way of grounding us, restoring harmony, and reminding us to slow down and breathe.

I attended college to become a Registered Nurse and spent nearly 14 years working in healthcare, caring for others through many seasons of life. After welcoming my third baby, I chose to step away from nursing and began helping with office roles within our family farm. Life then led us down an unexpected path when we purchased this property — something that was never truly planned, but quickly became a new passion and purpose in my life.

What started as preserving a special piece of Wisconsin countryside has grown into something much more meaningful: creating a space where others can reconnect with nature, themselves, and the simple joys that often get lost in busy everyday life. My hope is that this journey inspires others to slow down, appreciate the beauty around them, and find a sense of peace, joy, and happiness here in the countryside.

  • Shelby Faustino

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR & RETREAT GUIDE

Shelby Faustino is a certified yoga instructor and meditation guide, and lifelong creative. As a student of yoga from a young age, she revisited the value of guided movement after sustaining a TBI in 2018. Starting from scratch, her practice focused on regaining balance, strength, and finding moments of acceptance in an uncertain world.

Through this unexpected journey, Shelby developed her skills into becoming an acrylic painting instructor. This creative outlet, became an anchor - a means of expression, and experimentation.

With these life experiences influencing the present day, you will find that Shelby’s classes are rooted in weaving a fresh, artful experience in tandem with movement and accessibility. All landing points are valid!

She brings great care and creativity to classes by blending art with movement - movement with breath - and breath with stillness.

At the center of each practice, will be a guided return to Self.
